Terms of use

Last updated: October 29, 2026

These are the rules for using Rip Score: this website and the scanner. By using Rip Score, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

In these terms, “we” and “us” means the people who run Rip Score. Our privacy page explains what data we collect.

1. Who can use Rip Score

Rip Score is for ages 13 and up. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian to buy Pro and to sell on eBay.

2. Prices and advice are estimates

Prices, graded prices and grading advice (like “Worth grading”) are estimates. They can be wrong. They are not financial advice.

You decide what to do with your cards. We are not responsible for decisions you make with these estimates. The scanner can also name a card wrong, so check the card before you sell or grade it.

Where the numbers come from: card prices are the TCGplayer market price for each printing, via TCGdex. Graded prices come from PokeTrace (eBay sold listings, 30-day median). Grading results count the $59.99 PSA fee and shipping.

3. Use at your own risk

You use Rip Score at your own risk. We do not promise that it will always be available, or that it will work without errors.

4. Fair use

Do not abuse the service. For example:

We may block anyone who does.

5. Rip Score Pro

Pro is optional. Scanning, prices, graded prices for a single card, the collection and export stay free forever.

6. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using Rip Score after a change, the new terms apply.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator is based.
