This page tells you what Rip Score keeps on your phone, what it sends to us, and why. If something is not clear, ask us.

The short version

What stays on your phone

What we collect

We collect anonymous usage events. Each event is tied to a random install ID that is created on your phone. For example:

We use these events to make card recognition better and to decide what to build next.

What we do not collect

We do not store names, contacts, location or photos. We do not keep your IP address. To stop people from abusing the price server, checkout and the contact form, our server counts requests per hour using a scrambled code made from the IP address (a salted hash). That code is not stored with your events, and it is deleted after about one hour. There are no ads and no ad tracking. We do not sell data.

Rip Score Pro and payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you buy Pro, Stripe processes the payment. Stripe sends us your email address, your plan and the payment status. We never get your card number.

We use this to give you Pro, and to restore Pro later, for example on a new phone.

Other services

Like any website, these services can see your IP address when your phone loads files from them.

When you contact us

If you send us a message with the contact form, we store it so we can reply. This includes the topic, your message, the page you came from, and your email if you type one. Email is optional. We delete your message if you ask.

Your choices

Children

Rip Score is for ages 13 and up. It is not for children under 13. If we learn that we hold data from a child under 13, we delete it.

Changes to this page

If these rules change, we update this page and the date at the top.
